2013 Kentucky Derby Future Wager Dates - There will again be three future wager pools for the Kentucky Derby on February 8-10, March 1-3, and March 22-24, with both exacta and win wagering. There will be a single pool for the Kentucky Oaks on March 1-3 with also with win and exacta wagering.

2013 Graded Stakes List - The American Graded Stakes Committee has assigned graded status to 457 races for 2013. Owner Mike Repole boycotting the 2012 Breeders' Cup - He has decided to boycott the 2012 Breeders' Cup as a protest against their ban on Lasix for the juveniles this year and all races starting next year.
Joshua Tree repeats in the Pattison Canadian International (G1) - He set a slow pace under jockey Frankie Dettori and had enough left to hold off the late close of Dandino and Forte Dei Marmi to win the Canadian International (G1) at Woodbine on Sunday. I'll Have Another out of the 2012 Belmont Stakes - He had some heat and swelling in his left front leg yesterday and after he jogged today it was back. They did a scan and found the beginnings of tendonitis. Rather than risk something happening in the race, they opted to scratch and he has been retired. He will lead the post parade for the Belmont Stakes tomorrow as his farewell appearance.
