2021 Year in Review - As the year ends and we look ahead to the new year, it is time to take a look back at the highs and lows of 2021 and remember those people and horses that we lost.

Malibu Stakes Day at Santa Anita - Saturday was opening day at Santa Anita and Charlatan romped home by 11 1/2 lengths in the featured Malibu Stakes (G1) with Baby Yoda second and Stileto Boy third. 2021 Cigar Mile (G1) Day - Saturday at Aqueduct, favorite Americanrevolution rallied to win the Cigar Mile (G1) by a half length over Following Sea and Plainsman. Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool 1 - The first Future Wager pool for this year's Kentucky Derby is now closed and the favorite as usual was the mutuel field at 3-5 with Smile Happy the lowest odds individual horse at 8-1 followed by Jack Christopher at 10-1. Thursday Breeders' Cup Photos - Photos and comments for 27 more horses at Del Mar on the track Thursday morning or schooling in the paddock. The weather was foggy and chilly again and there didn't seem to be as many horses out. After the works, United and Domestic Spending scratched due to injury.
