The 41st Breeders' Cup World Championships held on Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2, 2024, at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in north San Diego County, California, are now in the record books. Attendance on Championship Saturday was 36,436 and the two-day on-track attendance was 67,418. On-track handle for the 2 days was $18,450,724. Total all-sources, global common-pool handle for the two-day Breeders' Cup World Championships at Del Mar was $176,281,989, third highest ever. Total common-pool handle on Saturday's 12-race Breeders' Cup card was $115,538,687. All sources common-pool handle on Breeders' Cup's 10-race Future Stars Friday card was $63,679,944. This is the seventh consecutive year that Breeders' Cup grouped all its juvenile races together on Friday.
The Championships were held at Del Mar for the third time, after 2017 and 2021. The 42nd Breeders' Cup World Championships will be held Friday-Saturday, October 31-November 1, 2025 again at Del Mar.

Ryan Moore also had 2 wins with Henri Matisse (Juvenile Turf) and Lake Victoria (Juvenile Fillies Turf), but Prat won the tiebreaker with third placings on Domestic Product (Dirt Mile) and Mullikin (Sprint).
Europeans entrants won five Championship races: Magnum Force (Juvenile Turf Sprint), Lake Victoria (Juvenile Fillies Turf), Henri Matisse (Juvenile Turf), Starlust (Turf Sprint) and Rebel’s Romance (Turf).

Only one horse was a repeat winner, as Rebel's Romance also won the Turf at Keeneland in 2022. Trainer Aidan O'Brien was the only conditioner to pick up two victories, both on Future Stars Friday with Lake Victoria (Juvenile Fillies Turf) and Henri Matisse (Juvenile Turf). The two victories boosted O'Brien's World Championships total to 20, tying D. Wayne Lukas for the most training wins all time at the Breeders' Cup.
Five of the 14 Breeders' Cup races were won by the betting favorite. The winning favorites were Immersive (Juvenile Fillies), Lake Victoria (Juvenile Fillies Turf), Henri Matisse (Juvenile Turf), Thorpedo Anna (Distaff) and Rebel’s Romance (Turf).
The highest price winner of the weekend was Starlust (Turf Sprint) with a $69.20 payoff for a $2 win bet. At the other end, Thorpedo Anna (Distaff) was the shortest priced winner, paying just $2.80.
