Note: Game Winner broke his maiden in his first start at Del Mar, followed by wins in the Del Mar Futurity, American Pharoah Stakes (G1) at Santa Anita, and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) at Churchill Downs. He was set to make his 2019 debut in the San Felipe but had to ship to Oaklawn instead when Santa Anita was temporarily closed. He finished 2nd as the favorite in a division of the Rebel Stakes (G2), then went back to Santa Anita to finish 2nd in the Santa Anita Derby (G1) for his final prep. In the Kentucky Derby (G1) he finished 6th (moved up to 5th) beaten 11 1/4 lengths as the 7-1 fourth choice.
