Note: Improbable broke his maiden in his first start at Santa Anita then shipped to Churchill to win the Street Sense Stakes, and back to Los Alamitos to win the Cash Call Futurity (G1). He was set to make his 2019 debut in the San Felipe but had to ship to Oaklawn instead when Santa Anita was temporarily closed. He finished 2nd as the favorite in a division of the Rebel Stakes (G2) and was 2nd in the Arkansas Derby for his final prep. In the Kentucky Derby (G1) he finished 5th (moved up to 4th) beaten 3 1/4 lengths as the 4-1 favorite. In the Preakness Stakes (G1) he finished 6th beaten 3 3/4 lengths as the 5-2 favorite.
