Wenesday morning the track was sloppy but the rain held off to just sprinkles as three of the Preakness horses came out on the track this morning. Tenfold, who arrived by van yesterday, just walked the shedrow. In the afternoon, Diamond King vanned over from Parx and shortly afterwards the last three horses arrived by plane from Kentucky, including Kentucky Derby winner Justify. The Tex Sutton charter left Louisville International at 12:41PM and landed at Baltimore-Washington International at 2PM. Light rain fell all day starting overnight accompanied by fog with temperatures in the low 70's.

Good Magic - winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) and Blue Grass Stakes (G1) comes here off a 2nd place finish in the Kentucky Derby (G1). Regular rider Jose Ortiz retains the mount for trainer Chad Brown.
Bravazo - winner of the Risen Star (G1) but winless since, finishing 8th in the Louisiana Derby (G2) and 6th in the Kentucky Derby (G1). New jockey Luis Saez picks up the mount for trainer D. Wayne Lukas.
Sporting Chance - is winless since the Hopeful (G1) at Saratoga last September. He was 3rd in the Blue Grass Stakes (G2) and then 4th in the Pat Day Mile (G3) on the Derby undercard. Luis Contreras, who rode him at Churchill Downs, retains the mount for trainer D. Wayne Lukas.
Justify - arrived at Pimlico after flying in from Churchill Downs. The Kentucky Derby (G1) and Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner is undefeated in 4 starts and will be heavily favored Saturday. Regular rider Mike Smith retains the mount for trainer Bob Baffert.
Lone Sailor - arrived at Pimlico after flying in from Churchill Downs. He is winless since breaking his maiden at Saratoga in September, finishing second in the Louisiana Derby (G2) before an 8th place effort in the Kentucky Derby. New jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. picks up the mount for trainer Tom Amoss.
Quip - arrived at Pimlico after flying in from Churchill Downs. The Tampa Bay Derby (G2) winner finished 2nd in the Arkansas Derby (G1) but skipped the Kentucky Derby, opting to lay off for the Preakness. Florent Geroux, who has been aboard for all 5 of his starts, retains the mount for trainer Rodolphe Brisset.
Diamond King - arrived at Pimlico by van from Parx. The Federico Tesio Stakes winner was 3rd in the Swale (G3) at Gulfstream 2 starts back. New rider Javier Castellano picks up the mount for trainer John Servis, replacing regular rider Frankie Pennington.
