Note: Senior Investment broke his maiden in his 4th start as a 2-year-old at the Fair Grounds after first racing at Ellis Park twice and Churchill Downs. He made his 2017 debut finishing 7th in an allowance at the Fair Grounds, then shipped to Oaklawn to win an allowance. Back at the Fair Grounds he ran 6th in the Louisiana Derby (G2), then shipped to Keeneland to win the Lexington Stakes (G3). He did not enough points to make the Kentucky Derby field so he joined the Triple Crown battles as a new shooter in the Preakness Stakes (G1). Sent off at 32-1, he rallied from 13 lengths off the pace to finish third beaten 4 3/4 lengths.
