Note: Irap races 4 times as a 2 year old without a win, although he did get a 2nd place finish in the Los Alamitos Cash Call Futurity (G1). He made his 2017 debut running 2nd in the Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita, then 2nd again in the Mine That Bird Derby at Sunland Park and 4th the Sunland Derby (G3). He shipped over to Keeneland for the Blue Grass Stakes (G2) and finally broke his maiden, winning at odds of 31-1. Sent off at 41-1 in the Kentucky Derby (G1) he finished 18th beaten 40 3/4 lengths.
