Note: Hence tried to break his maiden at age 2 at Saratoga, Keeneland, and Churchill downs without success. He finally broke his maiden in his 2017 debut at Oaklawn. He followed that up with a 7th place finish in the Southwest Stakes (G3) at Oaklawn then shipped to Southland Park to win the Sunland Derby (G3). The 15-1 shot in the Kentucky Derby (G1) finished 11th beaten 18 1/2 lengths.
