Derby favorite I Want Revenge was out on Thursday morning. |
It was another busy morning Thursday at Churchill Downs, but this time we were not as lucky with the weather, although the temperature was fine. It was cloudy at dawn but no rain until the track was closed for the break at 8am, when it started to drizzle. The rain continued to pick up as the morning went on and by 9am it was raining fairly steady and getting harder. Around noon it started to slack off and we might get through the rest of the afternoon without more rain.
Here are photos 12 of the Kentucky Derby horses, including 6 new ones I didn't see before, plus 2 new Oaks fillies with comments on what they did. Click the small photo to see a larger verson.
