Was included in the late Triple Crown nominees released on April 1st. Went to Hawthorne for the Illinois Derby for his final prep and won by 2 lengths, so off to Kentucky now. In the Kentucky Derby he raced mid-pack early then rallied to finish third, just missing 2nd by a nose. 8th early in the Preakness, he moved up steadily to finish 3rd, only missing 2nd by a half length.
