In his 2009 debut, he was an even 3rd in the Robert Lewis Stakes at Santa Anita behind Pioneerof the Nile. Shipped east to Aqueduct for the Gotham Stakes to try real dirt instead of synthetic and ran away to win by 8 1/2 lengths. Guess he liked it A LOT more. As of March 30, IEAH has bought a half interest in him from current owner David Lanzman and Jeff Mullins will remain his trainer. Overcame a bad start in the Wood to rally from last and win by 1 1/2 lengths, so off to Kentucky.
I Want Revenge scratched from the Derby! Saturday morning they found some heat in his left front ankle and while he jogged sound he walked a bit off and they decided with the muddy track to be safe and scratch him. His vet Dr. Foster Northrup said, "He X-rayed normal and the ultrasound was normal. There is no diagnosis at this time. More sophisticated tests will need to be done."
