Note:   Named the Champion 2-year-old male in Canada, he won four straight races before fading to finish 12th in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile last year. This year he has been racing at Sunland Park where he was 2nd in the Borderland Derby and 4th in the Sunland Derby. He has the earnings to get in the Derby from his win in the Grey Stakes (G3) at Woodbine last year. Was a surprise winner in the Kentucky Derby where he rallied from last to win by 6 3/4 lengths at odds of 50-1. Perhaps he liked the cool, moist weather better than the dry, hot weather out west? Last early once again in the Preakness, he rallied well but just couldn't catch Rachel Alexandra, finishing 2nd by a length. In the Belmont he trailed early, took over the lead at the top of the stretch, but faded late to finish third beaten 2 3/4 lengths.
