Changed trainers and moved to Tampa Bay Downs in December and ran 2nd in the Inaugural Stakes then 2nd again in the Pasco Stakes in January. Stretched out from sprints for the first time to 1 1/16 miles in the Sam F. Davis at Tampa Bay and won by 3 1/2 lengths with a huge Beyer figure last out. Bounced in the Tampa Bay Derby running a lackluster 5th. Came back to win the Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland in his final prep. In the Kentucky Derby, he ran an even race and finished 10th. Never really in the race during the Preakness and faded to finish 9th after being steadied in the stretch.

Lookin At Lucky wins the Preakness - The new jockey must have changed his luck as he had no problems this time and wore down First Dude to win the Preakness with Jackson Bend third. Favorite Super Saver faded to finish 8th. Get the results, charts, and photos here.
Super Saver wins the 2010 Kentucky Derby - He drew off to win by 2 1/2 lengths, giving jockey Calvin Borel his third Derby win in 4 years. Ice Box and Paddy O'Prado closed from far back to finish 2nd and 3rd while favorite Lookin At Lucky was 6th.
