Note: Seize The Grey broke his maiden in his second start last year at Saratoga then finished third in the Skidmore Stakes. He shipped to Churchill Downs and was fourth in the Iroquois Stakes (G3) then was third in an allowance at Keenelan. He made his 2024 debut winning an allowance at the Oaklawn then finished third in the Jeff Ruby Steaks (G3) at Turfway and was 7th in the Bluegrass Stakes (G1) at Keeneland. He didn't have enough points to get in the Kentucky Derby, so instead won the Pat Day Mile (G2) on the undercard. He won the (G1) by 2 1/4 lengths over Mystik Dan two weeks later at odds of 10-1.
