Note: Classic Causeway broke his maiden in his first start at Saratoga then ran 3rd in the Breeders' Futurity (G11) at Keeneland and 2nd in the Kentucky Jockey Club (G2) at Churchill Downs. He won the Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3) at Tampa Bay Downs for his 2022 debut and followed that up with a win in the Tampa Bay Derby (G2). He finished last by 21 1/4 lengths in the Florida Derby for his final prep. Originally they were not going to Kentucky, but on 4/25 they decided to go after all. Finished 11th in the Kentucky Derby.
