Breeders' Cup World Championships Entries

Here are the entries for the 2020 Breeders' Cup World Championships at Keeneland. Pre-entries closed at noon on October 26 for all the races and were announced at 11:00am ET on October 28. Final entries closed at 10am ET and the post position were drawn at 5pm on Monday November 2 at the Sales Pavilion at Keeneland.

The Breeders' Cup will have a total of 14 Championship races (thirteen Grade 1 with the Juvenile Turf Sprint upgraded to Grade 2 for its second running) spread over two days of racing with $30 million in purse money on the line. Friday November 1st is billed as "Future Stars Friday" featuring all 5 Championship races for juveniles on the same card, starting with the $1 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2) and highlighted by the $2 million TVG Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1). Saturday November 2nd will have nine races for older horses headlined by the $6 million Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) at 1 1/4 miles. The Championships will be held at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky, for a second time, the first in 2015. Due to coronavirus restrictions fans will not be allowed to attend, with only officials, essential horsemen and owners, and selected media present.

The Breeders' Cup will be televised on NBC and NBC Sports with the schedule shown below. All times are Eastern.
     Friday, November 6, 2:00-6:00pm - Future Stars Friday on NBC Sports
     Saturday, November 7, 12:00-2:30 - Championship Saturday on NBC Sports
     Saturday, November 7, 2:30-6:00pm - Classic on NBC
