Note: Brooklyn Strong won his debut at Delaware Park in September, then was shipped to Belmont Park to finish third in the Bertram Bongard Stakes before winning the Sleepy Hollow Stakes, both against fellow New York breds. He finished 2020 by winning the Remsen (G3), earning him 10 Derby points. He did not return to the track until the Wood Memorial (G2) where he finished a disappointing fifth. On Sunday April 25 he drew into the Derby field when Caddo River scratched out. In the Kentucky Derby he finished 15th beaten 18 3/4 lengths at odds of 43-1.
