Note:   King Russell was winless in 3 starts last year in maiden special weights at Churchill, Keeneland, and Oaklawn. He broke his maiden in his second start this year which earned him a late Triple Crown nomination. After that, he finished a good second in the Arkansas Derby (G1) for his final prep. He was the third also-eligible for the Derby but drew in after Practical Move, Lord Miles, and Continuar scratched on Thursday. Finished 15th at 32-1 odds in the Kentucky Derby (G1) beaten 25 1/2 lengths.
