There was lots going on at Pimlico on Preakness day other than the races. There were the fans, parachuters, the Budweiser Clydesdales, and of course there is always the scenery. Here is a selection of photos from Preakness day for your enjoyment. Just click the smaller one to see a bigger version.

The crowded stands on Preakness Day.The weather vane atop the old clubhouse cupola behind the Preakness winner's circle being painted in Shackleford's colors.
The traditional honor guard brings the Preakness trophies over to the winner's circle followed by track security people with the flowers for the winner.
The U.S. Air Force Parachute Team "Wings of Blue" did a demonstration and landed on the turf course.
The Budweiser Clydesdales paraded down the track on Saturday morning.
There was a fly over by a formation of Warthog jets, also known as the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, by the 175th Wing, 104th Fighter Squadron, Maryland Air National Guard.Retired jockey Gary Stevens gave a demonstration of how to ride for TV during the afternoon, which looked a bit funny when you couldn't hear what he was saying.
