The Kentucky Derby is in the record books and the only horse with a chance to be the next Triple Crown winner is now Animal Kingdom. Can he do it or will someone else win the Preakness? Here is the latest list of horses planning to start in the Preakness. Right now, it looks like several of the Derby starters are planning to try the Preakness, but there are a few new faces and some are back who dropped out of the Derby to wait for the Preakness. A maximum of 14 horses are allowed to start in the Preakness, and it is looking like we may get there this year.
