Pool Three of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager is now closed. The mutuel field of all other 3-year-olds is the favorite at 9-2 with a $2 will-pay of $11.00, with juvenile champion and Rebel Stakes winner Looking at Lucky the second choice, also listed at 9-2 but with a slightly higher will-pay of $11.80. Florida Derby winner Eskendereya is the 5-1 third choice, with all other horses at double digit odds, led by 13-1 Awesome Act, winner of the Gotham last out. There was a total of $310,154 bet in Pool 3, of which $224,358 was to win and $85,796 was in the exacta.
The Future Wager is a two-dollar minimum bet to win only with no refunds if your horse doesn't start in the race with both win and exacta wagering available. Pool 1 was held on February 12-14 and Pool 2 was held on March 5-7. The 136th running of the Kentucky Derby is scheduled for Saturday, May 1. Full rules and info for the wager is available here.

You may also want to participate in Churchill Downs' Kentucky Derby fantasy stable contest the Road to the Roses Fantasy Challenge. The contest is now open for entries and the first scoring races were on February 14th.
