This year's Triple Crown was a real rollercoaster ride. Barbaro became the first undefeated Kentucky Derby winner since Smarty Jones in 2004 and Seattle Slew in 1977, and was touted by may as a strong possiblity to win the Triple Crown. This probably contributed to the horror everyone felt when he shattered his ankle in the Preakness. Bernardini was an impressive winner, but was mostly ignored as all the attention was on Barbaro's injury and the fight to save his life. Since neither of these went to the Belmont, it was pretty anticlimactic and gathered little interest this year. Jazil made a dazzling rally to win, but nobody but his connections really seemed to care.
Here are all the pages of info and photos I put up for the three Triple Crown races. The results page has the order of finish and pay-offs as well as photos of the running. The rest are self explanatory and all include several photos. Take your time and look at them all to relive the experience of this year's spectacle.
