Breeders' Cup tickets are generally offered via a lottery. You send in your application saying which areas you want, listed in preference order, and if you are drawn you get offered the tickets your name came up for. This tends to level the playing field a bit so everyone has a chance at the best tickets, however it always leads to many people being disappointed in the tickets they are offered. Here are sources for finding tickets in the aftermarket from individuals or brokers. Note: There will be unlimited general admission available for walk-up patrons at $15 Friday and $25 Saturday, and you get a $5 discount if you pre-order these online starting October 5. Reserved seating can still be purchased online from Breeders' Cup.
