A field of 11 has been entered for the 137th running of the Belmont Stakes and as expected there will be a rematch between Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo and Preakness winner Afleet Alex. Afleet Alex gets the nod as favorite at 6-5 with Giacomo next at 4-1 while third choice went to Peter Pan Stakes runner-up Reverberate at 6-1. This should be an exciting rubber match between the two Classic winners so be sure not to miss this race! The $1 million Belmont Stakes will be run as the 11th of 13 races on Saturday and will be televised live on NBC from 5:30 to 7pm EDT.
Below are the horses in post position order with morning line odds listed. Click the link on each horse's name to view his full info, stats, and a photo where available. A star by the dosage indicates a dual qualifier, although by this point the only ones left are Afleet Alex and Southern Africa.
