On October 30th, Lone Star Park will host the Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships for the first time in the 21-year history of the event. The eight race series will be televised live on NBC from 1:00 to 6:00pm Eastern Time and the audio portion will also be broadcast live on the Internet via Real Audio.
Final entries were taken on Wednesday morning, October 27, and the post positions were drawn after a breakfast in the Silks Dining Room at Lone Star Park, with media and connections in attendance to observe the proceedings.
