Trainer:Saeed bin Suroor Jockey:Edgar Prado Foaling Date: 3-14-2006 Pedigree: Lido Palace - Princess Aloha by Aloha's Prospector Dosage Profile: 2-0-2-0-0 Dosage Index/CD: 3.00 1.00 *dual qualifier* 2008 Record: 4 Starts: 3 - 0 - 1, $419,000 Best Beyer Figure: 99 Note: Last year he won the Hopeful at Saratoga and the Champagne at Belmont, then was sold for a reported $12 million to Godolphin and sent to Dubai to prep for 2009. In the past, Dubai has not been a very good path to the Derby so many are not considering him a good choice because of this. Finished 4th in the UAE 2000 Guineas at Nad al Sheba for his 3-year-old debut. He is not going in the UAE Derby and Racing Manager Simon Crisford told the DRF, "He has not been pleasing us since his last race and we have missed some time with him." My guess is he is off the trail now and we won't see him in any of the Triple Crown races.
