Laid off until this year where he rallied to win an allowance at Gulfstream Park over Quality Road in early January. Came back in the Fountain of Youth where he tried to run down Quality Road again but had to settle for 2nd by 4 lengths. Finished 3rd in the Florida Derby after being bumped at the head of the stretch by Quality Road. Finished a well beaten 9th in the Blue Grass and came out of the race with a minor injury so off the Derby trail.
