Trainer:Saeed bin Suroor Jockey:Ramon Dominguez Foaling Date: 4-25-2006 Pedigree: Street Cry - Sage Cat by Tabasco Cat Dosage Profile: 5-2-5-0-0 Dosage Index/CD: 3.80 1.00 2008 Record: 3 Starts: 2 - 0 - 0, $108,467 Best Beyer Figure: 78 Note: Last year, he broke his maiden at Arlington Park, won the Sanford at Saratoga, then was 6th in the Hopeful after a bad start. Sent to Dubai to prep for the Derby and so far this year he has won an allowance and the UAE 2000 Guineas (G3). Set off the pace in the UAE Derby and tried to close on winner Regal Ransom, but just couldn't get there. In the Kentucky Derby, he was 4th early on but faded to finish 16th.
Dubai has not been a good place to prep for the Derby so far, so be wary. Also, they don't do Beyer figures for races there, so the one above is for his win in the Sanford last year. Does have a Racing Post rating of 112 which translates roughly to about a 100 Beyer.
