graded stakes action elsewhere on the continent this weekend. At Keeneland Race Course, a field of thirteen 3-year-old fillies sprinted seven furlongs on the Polytrack in the $300,000 Lexus Raven Run Stakes (G2). The undefeated West Coast Swing was sent off as the 2-1 favorite, coming off of a win in the Prairie Meadows Oaks. In to challenge her were 5-1 second choice and California invader Seaside Affair, winner of the Torry Pines at Del Mar, and 6-1 Her Majesty, ninth in the Prioress at Belmont last out.

9-1 Exciting Justice went to the front to set the pace and she was joined by Her Majesty and Seaside Affair to her outside the whole way. The threesome set a pace of 22.61 and 45.69 down the backstretch and around the far turn. Entering the lane, Exciting Justice tired from the fast early pace and faded to eventually finish sixth. 16-1 Jibboom, who raced back in 7th early, came out three wide into the stretch in traffic and closed with a rush, taking over the lead at the 3/16 pole. She drew away to win by 4 1/2 lengths over deep closer and favorite West Coast Swing, who put in a very strong rally from tenth but was left with too much ground to make up. It was another 1 1/2 lengths back to 7-1 Mini Sermon third.

Jockey Robby Albarado said, "She got up for position within herself at the 3/8 pole and instilled a lot of confidence in me. I was just hoping to get through there at some point, and she did."

Garrett O'Rourke, farm manager of winning owner-breeder Juddmonte Farms, said, "We were supposed to be in the race yesterday (Valley View Stakes) and we were put on the also-eligibles. And, I guess it’s fate that it just worked out perfectly today. It’s worth more money today, which is all the sweeter, as well."
