Left: Tenma in the winner's circle. Jimmy Barnes, assistant to winning trainer Bob Baffert said, "It wasn't the way we were hoping it would set up. A race sets up the way it sets up. If there's a lot of speed there's a chance they're going to go quick and there's a chance the closers are going to come in and basically that's what happened. We were very confident going into the race. She ran so well first time and she was doing very well. It was no surprise to me."
Right: Tenma heads out to the track before the race. Winning jockey Kazushi Kimura said, "I rode her the other day when she won first time our and she did well closing. The plan was to try to do the same thing today. I saw those two fillies up front working on each other and I was happy with my spot. She closed well for me. I think she's going to want to run farther."
Left: Second place finisher Vodka With a Twist in the paddock before the race. Jockey Mike Smith said, "(Nooni) came out and that turned me in. I think it slowed me down when it happened."
Right: Third place finisher So There She Was in the post parade. The Doug O'Neill trainee improved her record to 1 win, 2 seconds, and 1 third in 4 starts, earning $131,000 for owners Great Friends Stables and Mark Davis.
Fifth place finisher and beaten favorite Nooni in the paddock. Jockey Juan Hernandez said, "She was a little empty today, too much pressure at the beginning. I tried to sit next to the speed and it didn't work out."

Left: Hang the Moon in the winner's circle. Winning jockey Kazushi Kimura said, "This is the first time I have gotten to ride her. But in this race I know who the best horse is and I tried to finish up strong. Today it seemed best just to follow Anisette and my filly seemed pretty comfortable throughout."
Right: Hang the Moon returns after the race. Winning trainer Phil D'Amato, who trains the first two finishers said, "I thought she was being overlooked. She came to me to run in these kind of races and I thought she just improved from race to race. She ran a really good second to Ag Bullet last time and Ag Bullet came back and won a million dollar race at Kentucky Downs, so I think she was a little overlooked here. Give a big shout out to (Kimura). He got her into a big stride there saving all the ground for the last quarter mile. She showed a really nice turn of foot to beat a couple of Grade 1 winners today."
Left: Second place finisher Lucky Girl in the post parade. The Phil D'Amato trainee improved her record to 3 wins, 1 second, and 1 third in 20 starts, earning $264,863 for owner Kia-Ora Stud Australia.
Right: Third place finisher Anisette in the paddock before the race. Jockey Umberto Rispoli said, "I had a perfect trip. I had no excuse."
Fourth place finisher and beaten favorite Didia in the paddock. Jockey Hector Berrios said, "I moved at the half-mile pole and she didn't respond. She was the same pace."

Jockey Kazushi Kimura sent Casalu to the lead first time by through fractions of 23.12, 47.37, and 1:11.27 while pressed by 139-1 longest shot Global Consort and stalked by Thought Process. Kept to task by Hector Berrios, Thought Process cruised to a 2 length win over late-running Supa Speed in 1:35.06. It was another 2 1/2 lengths back to 16-1 Sea Runner third.
Thought Process in the winner's circle. Winning trainer Phil D'Amato said, "She does things real easy. Has a great mind on her and that helps. And Hector (Berrios) has given her some very nice rides. We got a nice ground-saving trip and Hector was able to angle out and run down the horse on the lead and not look back. She's definitely going in the right direction and hopefully toward the Breeders' Cup."
Winning jockey Hector Berrios said, "I knew I wanted to go and close. She is a very fast filly so I try and go and switch positions. I take the last pull and she responds. She has grown; she is much more focused in the race and her stride is better in this race."
