In the Juvenile Fillies, Shesastonecoldfox and Take Charge Lady battled for the lead in the early stages, with fractions in 23.50 and 46.89, after which time Shesastonecoldfox quickly fell back to last place. On the turn, Bella Bellucci went for the front along the rail and looked tough after 3/4 in 1:10.96, but down the stretch the Godolphin duo of 12-1 shot Tempera and 54-1 longshot Imperial Gesture ran right by her and drew off together. Tempera beat her stablemate by 1 1/2 lengths in a stakes record time of 1:41.49. It was 3 1/2 lengths back to Bella Bellucci. The favorite, Bobby Frankel trained You, finished fourth, having been close up early between rivals but she had no response when roused by jockey Edgar Prado after the turn. On Sunday, trainer Bobby Frankel said You had spiked a temperature overnight and likely was already starting to feel ill Saturday and didn't run like herself. All the purse money won by Godolphin at the Breeders' Cup this year, $576,000 in this race, will be donated the Heroes Fund. Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford said: "I could never have imagined running 1-2 in this race. We've been through a lot these last two weeks. It worked out well for us. David Flores has made all the difference."

Heading down the lane with Tempera in the lead followed by Imperial Gesture, Bella Bellucci, and You. Winning jockey David Flores said: "She accelerates when you ask her to."

Tempera leads a 1-2 sweep by Eoin Harty trained Godolphin fillies in the Juvenile Fillies. Harty said: "I never imagined running first and second in this race. I cannot claim credit. I have to give credit to my help. They all worked hard getting them here. David (Flores) has worked with her ever since Del Mar and he has made a big difference."

Tempera gets her flowers. Jockey David Flores said: "The whole idea was to get her relaxed the first part and then let her run. I knew if I could get her to settle the first three-quarters, I knew she had a great shot because of the way she's been training in the mornings. She would go easy, easy and then pick it up the last three-eighths. She's only raced four times and as she gets more experience, she will be better all the way around."

Jesse Martin of the TV show "Law & Order" presents the trophy to trainer Eoin Harty in the winner's circle.

Tempera in the post parade. Because of all the extra time taken by Exogenous' accident the post parade was very abbreviated to try and get back on schedule so I was unable to get photos of all the horses.

Imperial Gesture in the post parade. Jockey Frankie Dettori said: "The trainer told me that she had been training very well and she ran out there, got in the straight and just started to really stretch out. But then I saw David on the other horse and I was like 'who is this.' But then I saw it was David and I knew that my team was going to finish 1-2. She is a good filly for next year."

Trainer Neil Drysdale helps Gary Stevens unsaddle Bella Bellucci after the race. Drysdale said: "The race did not set up well for her. He (jockey Gary Stevens) could not get to the outside and as you know, the track is favoring the outside. He didn't have much of an option but to go with her and it was too early. I'm very pleased with her effort."
