Win a Book!

The contest is now closed and the winner has been notified.

Just in time for the Breeders' Cup, here is your chance to win a copy of Jim Mazur and Peter Mallett's Crushing the Cup 2005 ($29.95 cover price). This book has 146 pages of detailed stats for all eight Breeders' Cup races and can give you a big edge in separating the contenders from the pretenders when handicapping them.

To win, all you have to do is answer the trivia question below between now and 8pm EDT Sunday October 16th. If you get it right, your name will be entered in the drawing for a free copy (only one available). Only one entry per email address is allowed in the drawing. The winner will be drawn and notified on the evening of October 16th, so be sure to check your email that evening or Monday morning so you can send me your mailing address right away if you are the winner. I will mail the book on Monday October 17th so it will hopefully arrive in time for the Breeders' Cup. Sorry, no entries from outside the US and Canada since there is no way it could arrive quick enough.

For a second chance to win, you can participate in our weekly free forum handicapping contest on the weekend of October 15/16. The winner there for the weekend will also get a free copy of "Crushing the Cup 2005".

Good luck with the contest! Here is the trivia question:

Which is the only Breeders' Cup race to have a dead heat for the win?
