More on the Pick Six Scandal
It just keeps getting worse. Now a third student from Drexel University
has been implicated and two possible trial runs for the Breeders' Cup
score have been found.

Breeders' Cup Goodies
Shirts, posters, mugs, and more with photos from this year's
Breeders' Cup just in time for holiday shopping. If you want a
horse not shown here, just ask as I have them all.,horseracing

Affirmed vs. Alydar
One of the greatest rivalries in racing history. Although Affirmed
won seven of their ten meetings, it was Alydar who had the last
laugh in the breeding shed. Read about their rivalry here:
then check out a gorgeous quilt that won the $10,000 Best of Show
award at the International Quilt Festival in Houston here:

Poor rides by Euro jockeys in the BC
JASONMASIS writes, "The Euro jocks, except on Domedriver, were a nightmare
all day, their worst showing in BC history. Fallon was as bad as a bug boy
on his first day, choking the start of every race, then finding trouble
where there was none and/or going 7 wide for no reason. Look at the charts
on his horses and you want to be sick. A better ride and Islington would
have pushed Starine to the limit and maybe beaten her. A better start and
Hold That Tiger would have been second."

Xtra Heat sold
CATHERINE623 writes, "Xtra Heat was sold privately for $1.5 million one
day after she failed to meet her reserve with the high bid being $1.7
million. It looks like her old owners sort of got to sell their cake and
eat it too :0) They still sold her and got a ton of money, but they also
put it in the contract that she is to remain in training (provided she is
still sound/healthy/able) for another year with Salzman as her trainer.
So, they don't get to profit from her races but they still get to see her
run and the same guy is still training her, which I know he wanted to do."
