DEPALMA13 writes, "I never thought I'd see a year where so many good horses are dying of non race related injuries. It's a shame." SHELLY440 adds, "This is just terrible news. I am still totally shocked over what happened to Siphonic, now Left bank too? It's horrendous and so so sad." http://forums.about.com/ab-horseracing/messages/?lgnf=y&msg=5891.2 1935 TC winner Omaha to be paved over? FINALVOYAGE writes, "The grandstand at the former racetrack is going to be torn down and the horse's bones will be paved over. The city of Omaha doesn't realize what a treasure they buried under the grandstand when it was added onto in the 1960's. They moved the monument over him and left the bones. Omaha deserves reburial at the Kentucky Horse Park. Maybe he should be buried next to his sire at Claiborne. After 30+ years his bones would still be there as they have been sheltered from the elements." http://forums.about.com/ab-horseracing/messages/?lgnf=y&msg=5882.1 -- SCHEDULES -- Television Schedule What's on TV this week. http://horseracing.about.com/library/bltvsched.htm Stakes Race Schedule Listing of stakes races with purses of $75,000 and up for the next week. http://horseracing.about.com/library/blstakessched.htm -- Racing Polls -- NTRA Thoroughbred Racing Poll 10/08/02 HORSE A-S STS-1-2-3 PTS PVS 1.
