Vindication in the BC Juvenile
JASONMASIS writes, "If you haven't seen the tape of the KY Cup
Juvenile, get it. Vindication, the colt Baffert told me 6 weeks
ago was as good a 2yo as he's ever had, made a move around the
turn that only truly superior horses are capable of. That came
after he was left at the gate and at least 10 lengths back after
half a mile. It was as impressive a performance by a 2yo as you
will ever see. Ever. Point Given ran an eerily similar race 2
years ago in the KY Cup, and Vindication has every right to be
just as awesome, or better."

BC Turf
YATATA writes, "High Chaparral - Has the best breeding that I've
ever seen. I thought this was a definite lock in the Turf, but
after studying a dozen angles looking for a chink in his armor, I
found three or four. He's been beaten once out of seven; he hasn't
run against any horse I ever heard of except for Hawk Wing, he
scratched out of his first race against "notable" Grade 1 company;
his Timeform ratings are well above average, but don't deserve
"lock status" in the Turf; and he hasn't shipped further than a
stone's throw from his barn on two occasions. Will probably still
win the race."
