Breeders' Cup Preview
It's that time again! Here is my first look at the current
contenders in each division with info for each and lots of
photos. This is a work in progress, so expect frequent
updates as more info comes online.

Atto Mile Results
It was a close finish as usual when Good Journey won off a
2 month lay-off over 55-1 filly longshot Chopinina. Get

Breeders' Cup Tickets
Remember, there is no general admission this year so you
must have a ticket to attend. There are still tickets available
from the track for purchase online, but ones with a track view
are limited. Also find out how to get a ticket in the "good"
sections with building and paddock access from a broker, but it
won't be cheap!

Breeders' Cup Weather
Historic data shows it should be a high in the 60's and a low
in the 40's, but the daily max has been as high as 77 and as
low as 40 on October 26th in the past 7 years. Here are lots
of places to check forcasts, climate data, and weather radar
for Chicago.

Order Horse Racing Checks
I have often received email asking where people can order checks
with a horse racing scene on them, but until now I had never
found any. Finally I have found a service called Checks Your Way
which will let you order personalized checks with your choice
of a photo on them.

War Emblem sold to Japan
TEXSQUARED writes, "According to various news sources, War Emblem
was sold for about $17 million and will stand at Shadai Stallion
Station in Japan, the same farm as Sunday Silence. The final race
of his career will be the Breeders' Cup Classic at Arlington."

Sunline's future?
LINDAM62 writes, "I say it is time to get her off the track -
unless she is given a big layoff to rest or shows an overwhelming
desire to keep racing. What else does the horse need to prove? She
was (and is) pure greatness and will be remembered as such. A
living legend in our time."
