Breeders' Cup Future Bet
July 4-7 is the first pool of the new Future Bet which will allow
you to wager on the Classic, Distaff, and Sprint now and lock in
your odds. 23 horses are available for each race plus the field
which covers any other horse not listed.

TEXSQUARED writes, "...and about time too. I thought DWL was nuts to
have even considered running her through Breeders' Cup this year. She's
got the money record, there's nothing left for her to prove."
SHELLY440 adds, "I have been so worried about her running while in foal.
I am so relieved to see that at last now she can rest. I am going to
Three Chimneys in October maybe I will be able to see her there."

American Oaks (Hollywood) Predictions
YATATA writes, "I doubt Megahertz will be in the money. She hasn't run
against any class. Cellars Shiraz was coming along nicely until her
last two. Maliziosa beat her at Churchill and then her connections ran
her in the slop at Calder. I'm not leaving her out. I like Adoration
over Megahertz at 1 1/8 or less, but I doubt if either will be around
at the end. Distant Valley will be tough to beat in this field along
with Maliziosa and hopefully Cellars. The others, who knows? If I had
to pick one to throw in, I'd take the Irish, Saranac Lake. If the turf
ends up really soft (fat chance), I'd use Portella the German inport.
This might be one of those races to box the 1 thru 4 or the 11 thru 14.
If you're going to key a horse, take a long look at Distant Valley."
