Toccet doubtful for Derby
JACQUIMUSIC writes, "This is such a shame; I really liked this boy's
chances, but if he's hurt, there's nothing we can do. I thought that
this belief that west-coast tracks are hard on a horse's legs was a
myth, or a widely used excuse by trainers. I guess it's not, since
Toccet is tough as nails."

How do you handicap?
EXODUS3977 writes, "I thought it would be interesting to see how other
people break down a race. Overall, I treat every race as a unique puzzle.
Fast-paced races, average-paced races, slow-paced races... For me, there is no
factor as critical as pace. Trainer and jockey matter little to me, unless
both halves of the equation are utterly terrible. So, what works for you?"
