Eclipse Award Finalists
Finalists for all categories including Horse of the Year were
released last Friday. Check out each category, both human and
equine, and cast your vote for who you think should win.

Thoroughbred Racing Annual Champions
Winners in all the Eclipse Award categories going back to their first
year in 1971 plus the champions from previous years going back to
1936 including photos for most of the Horse of the Year winners.

1943 Triple Crown - Count Fleet
Count Fleet was the champion 2-year-old of 1942 and was weighted at
132 lbs. on the Experimental Free Handicap. He carried that form
into his 3-year-old season, winning not only the Derby, Preakness,
and Belmont, but adding a win in the Withers in between the Preakness
and Belmont.

Bet Glen 2 Win
Up now Glenner's picks for Friday at Gulfstream Park.

2003 Triple Crown Trail
The full list of major preps leading to the Triple Crown updated with
the latest results each week.

Bob Baffert bashes Eclipse Awards
TEXSQUARED writes, "He really unloads in this one, finishing off with a
straight shot at Andy Beyer: 'Rock of Gibraltar as Horse of the Year?
Give me a break. Whoever voted like that should have their vote taken
away after selecting a horse who never even won in this country. It was
like that figure skating thing. Everyone knew who the best was, but they
didn't win.'"

Gulfstream Park - Palm Meadows trainers
EARLY11 writes, "So far a graded stakes winner and three allowance
winners have vanned in from the new Palm Meadows training center. The
horses must be happy and the surface must be good - Pletcher has a good
string there and his Florida Derby hopefuls are stabled there. Horses
vanning in seem to be doing well, so give them an extra look in
handicapping. Oh my, don't tell me Frank Stronach may have done
something right for a change."

Television Schedule
What's on TV this week.

Stakes Race Schedule
Listing of stakes races with purses of $75,000 and up for the next week.
