2003 Triple Crown Trail
The first Derby of the year, the Tropical Park Derby, has already been
run at Calder. Here is the full list of major preps leading to the
Triple Crown.

Glenners is back!
Welcome back to Glenners after a long hiatus due to family problems.
Hopefully the new year will bring us all some good luck and lots of
winners! Selections for Gulfstream Park on Friday ready now.

Tropical Park History
Learn more about the first track to run races legally in Miami and the
first to race on a synthetic racing surface. Although it is no longer
in existence, there is still a Tropical Park meet run at Calder.

2002 European Racing Review
A month by month look at racing in the UK and Europe from Sporting Life.

Congratulations to Ashton Fitzpatrick
TEXSQUARED writes, "Forum member Ashton Fitzpatrick scored her first win
as a jockey Saturday at Laurel. Congratulations from all of us at
Horse-Races.Net and Horseracing.About.Com! See you at the Derby someday!"
RETROSPECTIVE replies, "Lucky kid...if I had been shorter (instead of 5'9")
I'd love to have had the opportunity to do that. Nice to see someone follow
their dream."

Andrew Beyer's HOY - not Azeri
In the Washington Post, Beyer wrote "Rock of Gibraltar may not have ideal
credentials, but he'll get my vote. It will be a rebuke to a generation of
American horses so poor that Azeri could be considered a horse-of-the-year
candidate." XTERMINAL replies, "[this] does bring up the idea of Orientate
as HOY."

Television Schedule

Stakes Race Schedule
