2007 Belmont Contenders

There won't be a Triple Crown winner this year and while Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense will be absent, but Preakness winner and Derby third Curlin will again take on Derby runner-up and Preakness third Hard Spun. A couple of the Derby horses who skipped the Preakness are in and there are some new shooters as well. Here is the latest list of horses planning to start in the Preakness and entries will be posted Wednesday afternoon after they are drawn.
Be sure to click the link on each horse's name to view full info, stats, and a photo where available. So far it looks like a small field, but this could change if Street Sense stays out. More info about the new contenders should be coming this week
