Pre-entries are now closed and the horses listed below are the only ones who can now be entered on October 27. When more than 14 horses are pre-entered, the 7 horses who have earned the most Breeders' Cup Points receive an automatic berth in the race. Points are earned by finishing first, second or third in American graded stakes races this year. The remaining 7 horses are selected by the Breeders' Cup Racing Directors/Secretaries Panel to fill out the rest of the 14-horse field. A preference list is then established beginning with the No. 15 rated horse. Prior to the Oct. 27 Entry deadline, horses will fill vacancies, in order of preference, should there be a defection from the main body of the field.

Note: The jockeys listed for each horse are based on who is currently riding him/her. Obviously there will be changes for quite a few before Breeders' Cup day, since the jockeys will have to commit to one horse per race.
